Hi, I have had a dull ache with occasional very sharp pains in the liver region. This was coupled with the onset of diarreha. This has lasted for over a month. The ache is not so prominent now but comes and goes as does the searing but quick sharp pain. I was a long term overuser of cocodamol when this began. I now have intermitant stomach ache with sharp pains left and right of the stomach. It is improved from a month ago but remains noteable. I have ceased cocodamol use to almost zero unless the migraines I Also suffer from appear. At the first real onslaught of the liver area pains I was shown to have 'slightly' abnormal liver enzyme. A week later another Liver function test was performed and was normal this was after stopping all painkillers. I've had 3 further tests, all normal. Inflammatory trigger normal, blood count normal. I have also had Ultrasound wchich was normal, as was the chest x-ray. No urinary flags nor abnormalities noted in the stool samples. I have an endoscopy & colonoscopy next week. The pain was out down to Viral Infection but got worse from diagnosis and although not quite as painful & tender is still "there" almost 2 months on. Any thoughts With thanksSteven Davies
