What Does My Thigh MRI Scan Finding Below Indicate?
sir i have pain in my laft thigh since 4-5 years my MRI report of thigh conclusion shows 1.5cm well defined rounded intensly enhancing lesion within the vastus intermedus muscle of left mid thigh. The MR appearances are Suggestive of neuroma.plz tell me what to do?
I am sorry to hear that you have an abnormal lesion seen on your MRI of the left thigh. This lesion was suggestive of a neuroma. A neuroma is a tumor made up of nerve tissue. It is rarely if ever cancerous. It can occasionally cause pain. If the neuroma is painful then my need to be surgically removed. If you are not having pain then I would not recommend removing the neuroma.
