Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a colonoscopy today and the results say. Retroflexion was attempted but not successfully completed, likely due to patient anatomy - narrow vault. Difficult procedure due to tortuous colon. Completion aided by increased med doses and abdominal pressure. What is Retroflexion, narrow fault and tortuous colon?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and let me tell you that retroflexion is achieving the position of some organ inside the body particularly for intestine there could be some defects in the colon so this position is not achieved, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
