General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Swollen lymph nodes from last 7 years may be due to .
1 Lymphadenitis , primary infection may be in nearby area . Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a surgeon.
Excision biopsy will find out the exact nature of disease.
2 The next possibility may be due to tuberculosis either in the bone nearby or in lymph nodes . So get in blood examination for c b c and E S R .
3 Infection in the colon ( large intestine is one of the major cause ) . Get in ultrasound of abdomen .
In my opinion consult a surgeon and get his opinion.\
Good luck.
