Question: hi, I had a pap smear a year ago, it was normal, and it was my 3rd pap. I am 27, every pap has been normal except for the 2nd (I had a streptococus infection and squamous metaplasia but any celular change that could suggest vph or cancer was found) I used to do it every year but now my dr says I could have my pap smears every 3 years, is this safe? thanks.
