Cardiomyopathy is a condition in which the heart muscles are deteriorated in the function. The persons with cardiomyopathy are more prone for arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death.

Amputation is the removal of a body part. This can be done because of diabetes complications. However, amputation may also happen during an accident. An amputation may be complete (the body part is completely removed) or partial (much of the body part is removed but it remains attached to the rest of the body).

Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder often marked by an unnatural fear of weight gain, compulsive exercising, self-starvation, a distorted body image, and amenorrhea, or absence of at least three consecutive menstrual cycles. There are two sub-types of anorexia nervosa ? restricting and binge-purge. Restricting anorexia nervosa is characterized by strict diet and exercise. Binge-purge is marked by periods of compulsive eating with or without self-induced vomiting and the use of laxatives or enemas. Although many diagnosed with anorexia nervosa recover, the disorder can lead to death.

Bronchitis may be suspected in patients with an acute respiratory infection with cough; however, because many more serious diseases of the lower respiratory tract cause cough, bronchitis must be considered a diagnosis of exclusion. Spirometry or lung function test forms the mainstay of diagnosis. Oxygen, bronchodilators, antitussives, expectorants/ antitussives form the main stay of treatment in bronchitis.
